BRAVE SMILES - Absurd and hilarious tour of lesbian representation in media and society from 1920 to 1971. The play travels from Germany to Paris to New York, chronicling the lives of five young lesbians and their quest for love and happiness. Complete with fatal accidents and suicides, the audience witnesses one tragic death after another as the characters realize that their star-crossed love affairs will never come to b.
Smart, satirical farce that uses laughter and touches of raunchy humor to debunk the myth of the doomed lesbian. The New York Times
